Firefighter - East Pierce Fire Rescue, Age 48
I have been in the fire service 15 years, with 13 years as a professional firefighter.
I have a beautiful wife, Ommy, and together we have an amazing, blended family of 5 kids ranging from 10-26 years old and two beautiful granddaughters. My stepson Joshua is currently serving in the United States Army.
I have been into cycling since I was a child, going on long rides with my uncle and riding BMX around the neighborhood. I have been competing for about 20 years with my favorite discipline being cross country mountain biking.
I love cycling for the physical fitness, mental toughness and social outlet it provides. I am so grateful for the opportunity to combine my passions of firefighting and cycling to serve those who serve with this great group of people at NW Fire Velo!
